WoodWorking going on - nice meeting

this last week i kept on going some old works,
like the "alemagna Table" we called tavolo tedesco...
and a Desk, which need it to be adjust here and there,
and take another finish...

                                                         It's Spalted Walnut and Fir

It's Elm the top, and italian national Walnut and oak for both legs
i wish had enough elm to make all the desk
but i hadn't....

A job made with Poplar for a new born

here the last Market i done, where i met a man named Ghirardini Fabio
an artistic wood sculptore, a very nice man,
You know, nobody even his own neighboorhood know about his sculpture,
he done all this work without any other eyes for about 10 years!
I Really love this guy, i mean figuratively....

                                                           here picture oh his WoodArt

i'm not so good like a photographic reporter,
heron bird wing, which is hide on back, is made with copper...
very nice and full of meaning, i miss a picture, becouse of talking too much that time...

he is quite young and don't have anyknowledge about Pc,
he works in a hardware shop,
he had all day along people around him, surprise indeed on his works,
make a lot of questions....
It was quite nice lookin this scenes from few far....

Here a box i made by oak to keep all the pens,
but for sure if someone in market want it we can talk about it...

and...
and the end,
the unknow wood which i called FlameWood, becouse of his red line somewhere...
here the first piece came out on turning...
it's thin, almost 3 millimiter everywhere but not in the most distant point,
which is around a 2 centimeter mas o meno...
hope will not crack becouse of diffent thick,
becouse i like quite a lot,
i was lucky to find...
i'm thinking to try to make another hat,
becuse wood turning very well, and it appear strong...
less vibration when its thin...

Long post,

Cheers
